Behind the UPisode!

Hello there! It's been ages since we last update this blog.. Were really busy keeping our heads above the water we hardly had time to take a breather.. Darn, a getaway vacation sounds like an awesome idea!

Anyhow, here are some of the behind the scenes of our UP collections! Had the idea brewing in our minds for the longest time but do not have the time to get around to it. So glad it finally materialized!

Introducing our Mr Handy man to lay a helping hand (the name says it all) with all the sai kung (as we so endearingly known it as). Hahaha..

First task! To stick the pseudo clouds up! We midgets should just stand aside and watch the vertically enhanced do his work. Haha. He was so good with the clouds so much so that we have given him the much prestige accolade of the "Commanding Clouds Officer". (Mr Handy man a.k.a CCO.. hmm.. it has a nice ring to it don't you agree? hahahah)

None of us noticed (or rather, we choose to selectively ignore it after,God knows how many times) the fallen lump of clouds halfway through the shoot. Oey, Commanding Clouds Officer , your duty leh.. How can you fail us!

Ohoh! before I forgot, here is a sneak of our new label and tag! Woots! Comes with all our manufactured items :) They did not measure up to our facsimile of perfection though unfortnately :(

The tag was supposed to be smaller like more "peg-ish" and the label, it's so small! See what?! @_@

And don't even get me started on the shade of brown for the label! It was supposed to be a nice dark brownish hue but nooo.. it turned out to be this "half-baked" brown :((

In any case, they are still pretty,no? (This is rhetorical. And I forbid you to say otherwise. Hahahaha)

But beggars can't be choosers lah.. We need the labels and tags urgently for our manufactured stuff and we had already launched 4 designs without them.

Being the hard nosed me, however, I could not permit myself to settle for something less than perfect especially for something so pivotally important as our own brand/label. So, 老娘 I, went to mock up another label design with Jaye and decided to send it for manufacturing after CNY :)

And looky looky! Our first customized accessory for P&P! *beaming* It didn't carry our name on it though because carving the name requires quite an extra bit of money and we thought it was not really necessary to increase the cost this way. So good! Money saved can be passed onto our customers! :)

It's a triple strapped watch and the strap is made of somewhat rugged kinda leather. I bagged all colours! Hahaha.. Different colours for different outfits i say! :P

Whilst waiting for K to change into her next outfit, we had a little fun ourselves. Vain max..Heehee

Hey, the balloons,cotton and paper toys cost money one leh.. waste not, want not mah.. haha

Our CCO helping me to put on the head gear. Haha.. see, told ya he is tall! Talent not wasted eh making him the CCO.. Heh :P

We took many behind the scene shoots but they are all "blackmail" worthy so we shan't disclose it! And Jaye and I looked super shag that day cos we were busy preparing for the shot the entire night after our day work. Mr Sandman could have easily missed us. You should have behold our award wining eye rings hanging like 2 eclipses >_<

Next collection by right should be our Xmas manufactured item and the shoot was supposed to be awesome (if i do unabashedly say so. Ha!) BUT! Our supplier has problem securing fabrics and had to cancel all our Xmas items making our already tough situation more fraught with difficulty :(( And I don't even wanna talk about the ticket we were issued by Certis because we parked our car illegally at the road side just to sort out with our supplier about our Xmas manufactured items (okok, I know we were at fault for parking illegally in the first place but, at least have a heart? Double whammy I tell you :X). Oh God.
