And because I like to dilly dally, i deserve to be working on this post at 3am before the launch later today when i should be having a rendezvous with Mr Sandman :(

I'm super jet-lagged and i can't wait to greet my bed but I'm determined to share this blog post simultaneously with the launch later because... this launch will be our first ever collaborated manufactured item with none other than our favourite blogshop owner!

Ace is the first BS owner we actually came into close contact with and became friends :)

And I wanna rave about her because, not only is she gregarious, she is really one of the most generous, genuine and easy to get along with person! 

I think we are very blessed to know her! Heehee

You really ought to check our our collaborated "Memory Lane Swirl Dress"! 

The material is really good and the workmanship is impeccable! 

A few of our friends who got to see our stuff first hand are raving over it and deciding which size and colour they are keeping for themselves :)

Ok, on a random note, I'm trying to psych myself to think happy and positive thoughts recently. There are 101 things that can get you down. But I am giving thanks to every little simple thing I am blessed with and trying to sincerely believe that good things will be happening to me!

Happy Birthday to our lurvie! 

Still in the process of decorating..

The great artiste at work.. Actually, she only came in time to write the name on the cake -_-"

The bona fide artiste is the one behind the camera.... yours sincerely. Hahaha

A novelty for me though cos this is my first time trying my hand on this. Not too shabby a job if I do say so myself. :P

I promised myself we are gonna take on the wheels and launch more collections this season. 

With my absurdly warped working schedule (I really pity my body for being coerced into putting up with all these nonsense), courses and all that jazz; not to mention, Jaye is starting school again, it's nothing short of miraculous I am still able to keep my porch light remotely lighted and not go postal :P

Anyhow, we just did a shoot about a week plus ago and I am so lovin' the vibrancy and  cheeriness the photos are oozing (don't you? :))

And the behind the scene shots were such a riot I just gotta share with you girls.. we were doubled over with amusement (read on till the end ;P)

I think we ate the "Tiger's courage" (direct loose translation from the Chinese descriptive term) when we drove our car up the field. We have absolutely no idea if that was even allowed and we were just keeping our fingers crossed and praying under our breaths.  

Halfway through the shoot (and we are only into our,if I could recall, our 2nd outfit), a police car pulled up along the sidewalk. Jaye's heart was totally in her mouth and she was going incessantly like "oh sh*t sh*t.. sh*t..how? how? sh*t...." like the word "Sh*t" is going out of style tomorrow. Hahaha.. Frankly, my heart skipped but just kept prompting her to continue like we've got nothin' to hide :P

Oppsy.. we have unwanted guests >.< 

Unabashedly, I was desperate enough to ward them off that I conjured every effervescence of naivety, ignorance and innocence I could muster to "plead" with them (we don't have a back up plan so it's a desperate enough situation to either make it or break it) Hahahaa..

Thankfully, I think somebody up there likes us, the police officers were really nice (in fact, one of them was quite charming cos he was more than nice.. hahahaha) and we managed to convinced them to let us finish the shoot :D

On a more light-hearted note, we were drawing lots of attention nearing evening and without a doubt, especially kids. A few of them were playing Catching around our car. Haha.. And to cajole them, I promised to give out the balloons to them when the shoot is over if they leave us alone for a while more.. Ahhh.. kids and balloons.. nothing can be easier than that can it? Heh

We finally call it a wrap after the last outfit and whilst I was dismantling the balloons from the wiper, I have no idea the kids were already running in and queuing behind me! LOL 

Jaye managed to catch the moment on film and it was hilarious cos i was taken aback when I turned around. Hahaha

(notice the little 6th one coming to join in the line as well?) 

 

Bummer.. I've got only 5 balloons and there are not enough to go around so the kids devised their own way on who is gonna get the balloons

"scissors,paper,stone..."

Obviously it doesn't work because there are 6 of them and they cannot decide who is gonna pair with who..

So Jaye taught them...

"oh ah peh ah soom!" Lol

(Hmm.. if only they have that same concentration and focus when they are in class..haha)

Even so, they still have to have a friendly "battle" amongst themselves..ha

I love this photo below.. It is such a Kodak moment (less the mamas at the back) :)

So now the kids got their balloons, we thought we could make the best outta it by asking them to post with our model! Good idea, no? Finish off the ending of the road trip story with that sweet little touch of good cheer and love. And when it comes to love, we are all for it :)

Hmm.. on 2nd thought.. bad idea.. @__@

So yup, there you have it! :)

It was a pretty good shoot except that there was really not enough sunlight which is a major bummer because it affected the effect of our photos immensely :((

In any case, we hope you've enjoyed shopping this collection of Spring Casuals after launching a few dressy stuff :)

For those who had emailed us about wanting more of such dressy stuff nonetheless, we've heard you! We will have a collection coming up (perhaps the one after next) filled with whimsical numbers! We are so excited about that shoot we can hardly contain our enthusiasm! :D
